Aviation Security Option
Introduction
This option seeks to equip the student with knowledge in Aviation Security and laws, safety, crime detection and elements of forensic science coupled with practical skills applicable in the Aerospace Security Fields. The students may pursue areas (or fields) of interest to postgraduate degrees.
Admission Requirements
- A candidate must have a minimum mean grade of C+ (Plus) in KCSE or its equivalent recognized by Moi University Senate and have: C+ (Plus) in Mathematics, C+ (Plus) in English, C+(Plus) in Geography/Chemistry, OR
- Must be a holder of Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education with two Principals (2P) and one subsidiary and two of the principal subjects must be any two in Mathematics, Economics or Geography or its equivalent from Institutions recognized by Moi University Senate. In addition a candidate should have at least Credit Four in English at ‘O’ Level.
Aerospace Logistics Option
Introduction
This option prepares students to acquire knowledge in aviation marketing, purchasing, safety, management and aerospace logistics coupled with practical skills applicable in aerospace logistics. The students may pursue areas or fields of interest in aviation to post graduate degrees.
Admission Requirements
- A candidate must have a minimum mean grade of C+ (Plus) in KCSE or its equivalent recognized by Moi University Senate and have: C+(Plus) in Mathematics, C+(Plus) in English, C+(Plus) in Business Studies or Commerce, C+(Plus) in Geography/Chemistry, OR
- Must be a holder of Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education with two Principals (2P) and one subsidiary and two of the principal subjects must be any two in Mathematics, Economics or Geography or its equivalent from Institutions recognized by Moi University Senate. In addition a candidate should have at least Credit Four in English at ‘O’ Level.
Professional Pilot
Introduction
This option equips the student with adequate knowledge and skills in aviation as a professional pilot leading to acquiring Private Pilot License (PPL) and Commercial Pilot Lincense (CPL), Instrument Rating (IR) offered by Kenya Civil Aviation authority. In addition a student takes course in Aviation Safety and Aviation Management and may pursue them to Postgraduate degrees.

- A candidate must be a holder of Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education with two Principals (2P) and one subsidiary and two of the principal subjects must be any two of Mathematics, Physics or Geography/chemistry or its equivalent from Institutions recognized by Moi University Senate. In addition a candidate should have at least credit four in English at ‘O’ Level.
- In addition they must meet the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) Medical Certificate (2nd Class) requirements for the Pilot Licenses
